Sunburn Remedy

  Sunburn Remedy:

Well, Summer is here on the Northern part of the Globe. Yay!

And unfortunately, at Summer it's essential or shall we say statutory to get a bit (or more) sunburnt.
Nobody enjoys this "side-effect" of the beach-season.
Even if you have deeds around the house or in the garden, or you have to go outside for any reason, you might get sunburnt and it feels like that the Sun is acting like a kid with a magnifying glass in the hand above the ants...
So either you get prepared with a bottle of sunmilk in your bag and another bottle of milk applied onto your skin to give you protection for an hour or two or you can carry a hand-parasol and you might still get burnt a bit.

Below we are sharing some great and effective elixires to cure sunburn:

1Aloe Vera
Aloe sooths, regenerates and relaxes your skin. Apply the aloe-gel from a leave onto the sunburnt area and wait until it absorbs into the skin. Repeat it 2-4 times a day.

2Grated potato/cucumber
These grated veggies can help to re-hydrate your skin, reducing the pain and stopping the burning feeling. Put  the grated vegetable onto the sunburnt skin, let it work for 45 minutes then wash it off with warm water.

3Chamomile
Anti-inflammational, antiseptic and relaxing. Make a strong tea/brew from about 100mg of chamomile and 400ml of water and make a fomentation of it. Use the tea-fomentation about 3-5 times a day.

4Sour Cream
It stops the pain and burning feeling immediately and cures your skin very effectively. It cools the burnt area as you smoothe it on your skin. Leave it work for an hour and then wash it off with warm water.
Note: don't use it if you have an allergy to dairy products.
