Mainly nowadays, when most foods containing unnecessary and unneeded ingredients such as flavour enhancers, food colourings, pesticides and preservatives. These added things can cause damages in your body on cell-levels (free radicals) against which you can fight with antioxidants.

Now, antioxidants can be found in lots of nutritions, in nutriments and in drinks as well, some are richer in antioxidants than the other.
